Initial Life Journey
Alpesh is a remarkable individual who has achieved great success in both sports and his professional life. Despite being affected by polio at the age of 3, he has not let his disability hold him back. He has both leg and one arm disability and use wheelchair to commute. Alpesh completed his PG degree in M Com with the support of his family and went on to crack a government exam in 2006, earning the designation of Accountant in the Department of Post Office. Alpesh faced a challenging period of three years in various states, enduring without any assistance from his family. However, after this arduous time, he was finally assigned to his hometown, Bhavnagar, Gujarat.
Alpesh’s passion for sports:
Alpesh’s passion for sports and additional activities has always been a part of his life. He started his sports journey in 2010 and won a Para Table Tennis gold medal in a National Sports Event. He has also won two silver medals in an international event for Para Table Tennis .
Achievements With Sarthak and NAAI:
In 2013-14, he connected with Sarthak Educational Trust and won his first Silver medal in the Floral Arrangement Skill category at a Regional NAAI event in Delhi. He repeated his winning moment in the year 2021 at NAAI National Event, Delhi. He got to know about Sarthak and NAAI from the website. He explored and then connected with Sarthak for the event. Recently, Alpesh won a bronze medal in the GOA NAAI Regional event organized by Sarthak Educational Trust in January 2024.
About Alpesh family:
Alpesh’s wife and son are also Table Tennis National Champions. His wife is a Gold medal Winner in National Para Table Tennis, and they both play doubles together for the Para Table Tennis Sports. Alpesh’s journey is a testament to his perseverance and dedication. He has overcome numerous obstacles to achieve his goals and has become an inspiration to many. His story is a reminder that with hard work and determination, anything is possible
