Greetings from National Abilympics Association of India (NAAI)!

National Abilympics Association of India (NAAI) organizes Regional, National Abilympics, and facilitates participation in International Abilympics. NAAI is in its 15th year of existence. During this period the Abilympics movement has spread throughout the country and has helped increase awareness about the abilities of disabled people in society.

The aim of NAAI is to provide a supporting environment for blooming talent in the area of vocational skills of Persons with Disability (PwD). At the forefront of NAAI’s motivation is assistance to disabled individuals in gaining economic independence to enable them to identify themselves as valuable, fully integrated members of society. To achieve this objective the PwD participants specially youth between the age group of 18-30 years, will be provided trainings under different skill sets by our Trainers which will help build necessary skills and help them get employment.

As a first initiative, NAAI will be organizing a one-day base assessment camp for Persons with Disability candidates from North Zone (Delhi/NCR, Haryana, Punjab, J & K, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh), from 11th to 13th September, 2017 at the AIMS Learning Centre, B-5, 1st Floor, Gurudwara Road, Madhu Vihar, Patparganj, New Delhi, between 10.00 am to 4.30 pm, under Computer related skills (ICT categories).

We invite walk-in candidates, interested in improving their skills and who wish to participate in Regional Events, to attend this one day session on any of the above mentioned dates, under ICT (Computer) related categories listed below -

V05 - Computer Programming
V06 - Creating/Designing Web Pages
V08 - Data Processing - Basic & Advanced
V09 -  English Desktop Publishing
V10 - English Text Processing   
V21 - PC Assembly
V22 - Photography - Outdoor / Studio   
V24 - Poster Design on Computer
        
 
Our Trainers will be assessing the skill levels of the participants in these specific categories during this one day camp. The participants will then get trainings under these skill sets through our trainers in improving their skills thereby enhancing their capabilities in terms of both employability and competing in the Regional Events. The regional events will most probably be held either in January or February, 2018.  We will be confirming the dates for the same once they get finalized.
