Kashif Khan has had 99% Hearing Impairment since birth. His family ensured that he completed his schooling despite limited resources. After completing schooling, he wanted to become independent and support his family. His determination made him realize his passion for baking. He started his bakery and despite facing many problems since childhood he handled every situation like a fighter and achieved great success. His co-workers were very supportive and used to appreciate his wonderful skills at baking.

He came to know through his Hotel Management Team that NAAI was accepting wild card entries for Abylimpics at that time. He registered for the same and is also being trained on a weekly basis in offline mode by the Chef of St. Regis, Mumbai.

Skill category - Bakery - Patisserie and Confectionary

One of the categories is Bakery, Patisserie and Confectionery. This category is open to people with disabilities who are able to demonstrate their skills in baking sweet items such as Cakes and other confectioneries. The Bakery, Patisserie and Confectionery category is one of the most popular categories at the Abilympics. This is because it is a chance for people with disabilities to show off their creativity and skills in a field that is often very inaccessible.
