Mohit goes by the principle – “Nobody said it would be easy, so don’t ever give up when it gets hard.” Having a Locomotor disability of 45%, Mohit is a living example of not giving up at times of odds. After completing his schooling, Mohit decided to pursue B.Tech from IIT, Kharagpur, where he realized his love for outdoor photography. He started clicking pictures and his work was liked by his friends and Professors The appreciation and motivation prompted him to indulge in it more and it became a passion for him His family, friends, and even the Faculty at IIT Kharagpur were always supportive of him.

The faculty at IIT Kharagpur, when contacted by NAAI Team to engage PWDs from their institute, informed him about the Abilympics competitions. After taking weekly online training sessions with Mr. Vijay Jodha, he learned many techniques, upskilled his talent, and applied them to his passion.

Taking photos in an outdoor environment or in a building means using a digital camera to take pictures of things like nature or buildings. Candidates will select 5 photos, print them, and submit the final work to the jury.
The jury will then judge the photos based on how good they look.
